Global Bandwidth Services

Transponded Capacity

SIGS provides dedicated bandwidth on communications satellites in any available geographic region and frequency band, including, but not limited to: C-, X-, Ku-, extended Ku-, and Ka-bands. SIGS also provides additional services necessary to allow clients to use the transponded capacity, including: engineering services (e.g., development of link budgets, transmission plans); basic customer training (e.g., acquiring satellite signal, peak and polarization); core management and control of the transponded capacity; and required approvals (e.g., frequency clearances, landing rights). Host Nation Agreements (HNAs) will be priced separately when required.

Broadband Services

Government agencies need reliable and secure broadband services to support their critical missions.  SIGS uses transportable communication services through satellites, wireline and wireless technologies.  A combination of single solutions or multiple solutions, such as DSL and satellite can sustain all voice, video and data applications globally.  Prepackaged, custom packaged and transportable services are a few options that can be purchased to meet a broad range of requirements.

Teleport Services

SIGS’s satellite solutions are designed to address the unique applications and operating environments of its clients. SIGS provides a combination of satellite and terrestrial technology for secure broadband networking, network backup, real-time video, or all three, Prepackaged Connexstar™ networking services in addition to an array of customized networking options are available.  These teleports enable global communications to eliminate distance as a barrier to secure communications.
